“Under Law 66.23 of 2026 you need a Master in legal sciences, to be aged 21 to 45 on the competition date, to pass the institute entrance competition organised by the Ministry of Justice, to spend one year of theoretical training at the institute and receive the certificate of aptitude, and then to complete a 24-month stage, 20 months in a lawyer's office appointed by the batonnier and 4 months in a public administration or enterprise, before registering on the table of a bar association. The ministerial decision that will fix the competition's papers, subjects and pass marks has not been published yet.”
